Local Services

People seeking help with a drinking problem

If you know or suspect that you have a problem with alcohol, and would like to check out what A.A. has to offer, call the above number and request that an A.A. volunteer contact you and explain the A.A. recovery program to you. The volunteer often takes any willing person to some meetings to get them acquainted with A.A. and to meet some local members.

People requesting information about A.A.

A.A. has volunteers who are responsible for public information, cooperation with the professional community, and A.A. involvement in both treatment and correctional facilities. Depending upon the nature of your inquiry, the answering service will have the appropriate volunteer contact you. For example, if you, or your school, agency, clinic, hospital, church, etc., are looking for A.A. pamphlets or a speaker or panel participant, you will be called back by a public information volunteer.
